IASC – International Asatru Summer Camp, 2009

25th July – 1st August 2009

The first International Asatru Summer Camp will take place in Bogensholmlejren, Jutland, Denmark. It is hosted by the Danish Working Group in cooperation with the following organizations:

There will be recreational, educational and social activities at the camp for families, children and individuals including games, blots, bonfires, a market, a variety of arts and crafts as well as lectures and workshops on Asatru, runes and seidh. The agenda will become available after May 2009.

Pricing:

Category 1 - Members of the affiliated asatru groups and their families:

115 € - per person whole week - tent area
135 € - per person whole week - cabin

21 € - per person per day - tent area
23 € - per person per day - cabin


Category 2 - All other persons not affiliated with the participating asatru groups:

135 € - per person whole week - tent area
155 € - per person whole week - cabin

23 € - per person per day - tent area
27 € - per person per day - cabin


Reductions:

Children: all prices are reduced by 50% for children aged 6 to 15. Children up to 5 are free. Maximum payment per family will be for 2 adults and 2 children, regardless of age or price category.

Persons who have a need to get a room in the cabin due to health reasons only have to pay the tent price and will be preferred in assigning a cabin place.

The IASC Code of Conduct

Each participant at the IASC is expected to treat the other participants with respect and to conduct him- or herself honourably.

Racist or discriminatory conduct, and more generally causing a nuisance at the IASC for other participants and/or the area wherein the IASC is held, will lead to expulsion from the IASC of the person(s) concerned.

The IASC Council reserves the right to exclude individuals or groups, of which it has reason to suspect that they might not comply with this code of conduct or otherwise threaten to upset the frithgarth, of the IASC.

The organizations involved in setting up the IASC cannot be held responsible for the acts and/or deeds of individual participants at the IASC. The IASC and its organizers carry no collective responsibility. They are also not responsible for damage arising during the IASC and inflicted on persons of personal property.

Please note that due to Danish law indoor smoking is prohibited.

Dogs and other pets are allowed at the camp. They are always the responsibility of their owners and should be kept on a leash if necessary.

Registering

Preliminary registration will start 21st March 2009.

Final registration will start 1st May 2009.

Special needs: If you have a special needs due to health, diet or other things please inform the IASC when you register.

Payments: Payments will have to be made after final registration starts and have to arrive before July 1st 2009. Registration partners will notify you where to transfer your fees.
